One of Southend’s students is celebrating this Christmas, thanks to a fantastic competition at The Royals.
Kelly Joyce, of Crossfield Road, Southend, was the proud winner of a brand new iPod Nano, courtesy of Southend’s premier covered shopping centre and their 'Student Discounts' competition.
The competition aimed to highlight the fantastic benefits available to students from Southend’s university and colleges, particularly with regards to great discounts on shopping.
Dawn Jeakings, Centre Manager at The Royals explained: “We had a staggering amount of entries for this competition – and it’s always great to give our local students a helping hand.
“The Royals really is an essential part of living and studying in Southend. We’ve got so many stores and many of them give fantastic NUS cardholder discounts – including Toni & Guy, Subway and Café Giardino, plus Faith, Oasis and Warehouse in Debenhams.
“And with H&M opening in time for spring, we really do have student life covered!”
