A one-way system to follow and floor stickers will guide customers through the flow system with ease. The customer care team will be on hand to assist and there will be clear guidelines at information points in the malls and as you enter the centre.
The entrances will be limited to the following points:
Heygate Road entrance (opposite Southend Bus Station)
The High Street entrance will be open
Via the car park – on the 1st floor only
The safety of customers is paramount, a queueing system may have to be executed should the centre become too busy.
The Royals has an impeccable record when it comes to the cleansing regime which has been increased during this time, and the team will continue to maintain this clean environment.
In addition, there will be a number of sanitisation stations in the centre, and reminder notices to cleanse after making contact with fixtures for example the cash point and car park payment facilities- contactless card payments are recommended wherever possible.
The 1st level of the car park will be re-opened, so that customers can conveniently ‘Shop and Go’ – clear signage will guide customers to the available parking.
Initially, the toilet facilities will be closed, until further relaxation of social distancing is advised by the government.
Stores may be operating different to normal opening times, as they adjust, please do check the social channels and also the centres’ website for updated information.
The Royals will review daily it’s procedures and take advice from the government as policies change.
