Thanks to The Royals Shopping Centre, Southend is about to get a lot spookier! We are transforming the lower ground floor into a chamber of creepy crawlies for a FREE Halloween event that will make your spine-tingle. On Saturday 28th October, visit us between 11am-3pm for eerie encounters, face painting, arts, crafts, and more.

Do you dare to come face-to-face with a terrifying tarantula? Are you brave enough to make some new, cold-blooded friends?

Get up close and personal with a

  • Giant African Snail
  • Boa Constrictor
  • Giant African Millipede
  • Madagascan Hissing Cockroach
  • Chilean Rose Tarantula
  • Blue-Tongue Skink
  • Dwarf Monitor Lizard
  • and many more!

Under the supervision of a trainer, you and your child will have the chance to hold these curious creatures. Forget witches and wizards and enjoy frighteningly fun facts about the creepiest crawlies in town.

If your little ones prefer dressing up to befriending these cool critters, there will be plenty of other spooky activities to get involved with, courtesy of the Little Royalty events team. Encourage your little monsters to wear their best Halloween costumes as FREE face painting will be available all day.

Your children can get involved with some unBOOlievable Halloween arts and crafts, or show off their wicked moves as there will be singing and dancing throughout the day. Of course, you can expect to see Ryan the Lion, in full Halloween attire!

And, not forgetting you Mums and Dads; once your children have confronted the critters, why not relax for lunch at one of our cosy cafes or trick-or-treat yourself to a spot of retail therapy? Remember to top up with candy for your goodie bags and grab any last-minute extras for your evening costumes.
